The Korean Cancel Culture: Is it justified or too brutal?🤔

We know Korea has so many beautiful Cultures, but let’s talk about the Korean Cancel Culture. 

Apparently, the cancel culture is a form of punishment for public figures who are caught in a scandal.  This punishment can literally make their life and years of career crumble without any form of restoration. While some are lucky to bounce back, some either go into extinction or worse, commit suicide.

Personally, I have a mixed feeling about the cancel culture because I feel even though it keeps celebrities in check; it might also ruin an innocent person’s life. 

As a Korean enthusiast, what do you think about the Korean cancel culture? Do you feel it is good enough, too brutal or there are other ways to keep them in check?
