So I understand your Korean dream of going to the actual country because there’s no way you are a Korean lover without having that dream; in fact, some of us already have a bucket list of things we will do when we get there, right?

Now with all your plans and dreams, look at your account balance. Does it look like you are going to Korea anytime soon? I’m sure just like mine, your answer is a painful NO (Sighs in financial pandemonium). However, where there is a will (no, it’s not inheritance), there’s a way, and I found the way; as a matter of fact, I found ways.

Just because I love you, let’s talk about 4 ways you can get to Korea without spending a dime. Shall we? Come with me.

Smuggling

Wait, before you stone me with tomatoes, at least hear me out first. Okay, so I don’t mean smuggling literally (or maybe not. See, I will just leave you to decide what it is). If you have rich friends, then this will work for you. How? Of course, you can’t tell your friend to pay for your flight (I mean, what will happen to your steeze), however, you can persuade them to make a random trip to Korea (rich people's doings). How does that benefit you? Just target their traveling bag and hide in it and before you know it, Seoul is greeting you. How you will escape airport security is not my business. Figure that out yourself (I can’t do everything for you).

Attend KCCN Contests

As a Nigerian, KCCN (Korean Cultural Center Nigeria) will be your perfect opportunity to get to Korea, especially if you have talents that include dancing, singing, cooking and more. This Korean-Nigerian organization organizes different competitions yearly and most winners are given the opportunity to travel to Korea. I can’t guarantee this will be totally free, but trust me, it will reduce the cost of going to Korea for you if you are lucky enough to be a winner.

Enter through K-dramas

K-dramas have made us believe in many things, from time travel to unusual love between supernatural beings and humans, from magic to fate changing, so why do you think this is not possible? However, you can’t do this while watching K-dramas on your mobile device or laptop. You need a smart TV (take note of the smart TV). The perfect series for this step is the drama ‘Guardian the Lonely Great God.’ remember the red door that leads to any country? Exactly! Just at any scene when they are trying to use the door, jump into your smart TV and there you are in Korea. Don’t bother thanking me. What are chingus for?

Date a Pilot

I will not lie and tell you this is easy because I don’t know where you will meet a pilot, but if you can’t do any of the first three things, then this is your last resort. If you are lucky enough to meet a pilot, good for you. Figure out the rest. My own is to give ideas; yours is to actualize it. Thank you.
