I am forever grateful because I am a Gen Z. Why? Thatâs because I love all the scandals that come with being one. Like, everyone wants to talk about why we differ from the rest of the ages. Also, the aura that comes with being a Gen Z is just different and the fact that we currently rule the world is a plus.
However, speaking of Gen Z in the Korean celebrity world, of course, we definitely have them and I will say they are people we should look out for in the coming years because they are here to rock it all the way.
As the last part of my never-ending series on various generation Oppas, this will be for the Gen Z Oppas who are already taking over the Korean industry by storm.
How Cha Eun Woo Oppa came to dominate both the K-Drama and the K-pop industry needs to be studied, but I guess the fact that he debuted as a teenager is a great contributor to his success. However, he is surely good at what he does and he deserves all the love and attention he gets. Personally, speaking outside his K-pop prowess, his role in âTrue Beautyâ left a good impression that is not fading away soon on me.
He made it to the list because he is an actual Gen Z who was born on March 30, 1997, and he is currently 27 years old. He debuted in 2014 and itâs no news that he has been a sensation so far. Thereâs definitely more to come from this Oppa.
I definitely love the fact that this Oppa is a Gen Z, and he has already featured in some wave-making series, especially âAlchemy of Soulsâ in his not-so-long career period (Never to be caught at the back, right?)
Although it was not his debut series, it was hard to hate him in the series âExtraordinary Youâ and even the underrated series âDo Do Sol Sol La La Solâ and then âAlchemy of Soulâ (Was this Oppa made for blockbusters? Or we can just make him the Gen Z blockbuster King after Park Seo Joon and Kim So Hyun. Sounds like a plan!)
Lee Jae Wook is currently 26 years old as he was born on May 10, 1998, and he debuted in 2018.
Another one of our Gen Z Oppas is Yeo Jin Goo, who was born on August 30, 1997 (He will be 27 years old soon) and debuted in 2005 as a child actor.
While this Oppa is not particularly my favorite, I am scoring him high henceforth because heâs a Gen Z. Also, his role in âThe Royal Gamblerâ, âThe Crowned Clownâ and âHotel del Lunaâ is highly commendable.
To be honest, this Oppa has not really featured in many lead roles, but I feel he is one of those actors we should look forward to seeing on a bigger platform soon. However, in the meantime, his role in the hit drama âCrash Landing on Youâ might be a minor role, but he really caught my eye with his gentle and reserved personality in the series (His handsome face was not bad as well)
Lee Shin Young was born on January 24, 1998, and is 26 years old. He debuted in 2018
Moon Sang Min has to be the only crush I have outside premium delulu (Speaking of age tho, not like he will fly to meet me here).
I fell for this Oppa in âUnder the Queenâs Umbrellaâ and not only his handsome face but his acting skills, also, he was not bad in âWedding Impossibleâ and I canât wait to see him in a bigger and better role.
I mean, just one powerful lead role is enough (I believe in you Oppa!)
Moon Sang Min was born on April 14, 2000 (an actual Gen Z!) and he debuted in 2019 as a model and actor.
I am so excited to finally come to the end of this series about Oppas and their generations. Although the purpose, as I said in previous pieces, is to make you stick to your age gap in your crushes (Although the funny thing is, I am not abiding by this rule myself. You can't judge me guys)
Which of these Oppas is your favorite and who are you rooting for the most?
