The Best of Kim Nam-gil’s series

I might not have known him as Kang Mu in the 2008 period Drama “Portrait of a Beauty” but as Bidam in the 2009 drama “Queen Seondeok,” he was the absolute ‘chicken devouring’ love of my life.

Kim Nam Gil is that Ahjussi who has maintained not just the spotlight but his good looks for a long time because what in the name of amazing did he give us in “Fiery Priest” (Both Seasons)?

Just like I said, Kim Nam Gil was probably my first crush in K-dramas, like ever! I mean, I met him in the days of Korean drama dubbed disks. You know, the ones you have to play on a DVD (If you are a Nigerian, I am sure you dig). Just because he is in the Limelight again, here are 5 of his amazing series I think you should definitely see.

From his two period drama appearances, I think he should be best known for his perfect portrayal of historical figures, or was he one for real? (Thinking out loud).

However, did I say I fell his love with him as Bidam? That’s now insignificant as his role in Fiery Priest was absolutely delicious because he took us on a wild ride!

Let me know your thoughts and comments on Kim Nam-gil’s acting in the comments.
