The ink drips smartly over here. Let me take you through the world of my imagination while riding on the letters😎 It's all fun in this corner.
Argh! February was a month filled with back-to-back dramas that graced our screens. From ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers’, ‘The Scandal of Chunhwa’, ‘Newtopia’, ‘Buried Hearts’, ‘My Dearest Nemesis’, to ‘Undercover High School.’ These dramas are doing a good job to keep us entertained, so who are we to complain?
Most of these dramas are new and airing, so the slight holiday in the K-drama calendar for March is justifiable. In March, the following dramas have been confirmed to air:
This is a medical thriller that promises gripping scenes for the fans. It is about a top medical student who became a shadow doctor after being banned by a renowned neurosurgeon who is her mentor. Her underground surgeries opened the door to a series of actions, secrets, and gripping moments. Park Eun Bin, Sul Kyung Gu, Yoon Chan Young, and Park Byung Eun are confirmed as the cast for the suspenseful drama that will be hitting the screen on the 19th of March, 2025, on Disney Plus.
We are to make lemonades out of the lemons life gives us but what about tangerines; tangerinades? Hehe! On March 7th to 28th, 2025, Netflix will be serving us a romantic drama that is set against Jeju Island in the 1950s. With lots of emotions promised, Ae Soon, who will be played by IU, is a rebellious woman with a touch of nervousness who has dreams of becoming a poet. Gwan Shik will be played by Park Bo Gum, who lacks romance but has a deep love for her; that’s complicated if you ask K-drama fans. This contrast, complexities, challenges, societal pressures that existed in that era, and personal growths are the recipe for this awesome drama. It will surely charm viewers with its rich taste and relatable contexts. It will be released on Netflix.
Where are my office romance lovers? Lee Sun Bin and Kang Tae-oh will be taking us on a 12-episode ride on Netflix. Kim Mi-kyung, played by Lee Sun Bin is a potato researcher who has worked for the Institute for 12 years. A new director comes in, So Baek Ho, played by Kang, and they are assigned to a secret project that opened to a closeness they never expected.
Yoon Hyun Soon will be playing a character who became a laughingstock in school after an incident. He was nominated as a vice presidential candidate and luck smiled at him, giving him the chance to reclaim his lost glory, even though he would be pulled into the world of dirty politics. It has nine episodes.
On the 8th of March, the 12-episode drama starring Lee Je Hoon will be streaming on TVING. It’s about a Mergers and Acquisitions negotiator who is known for taking on high challenges and betting on the impossible. He was tasked by Chairman Song Jae Sik to lead his team in resolving a $7 billion debt. This is surely more than what he had bargained for; how will he resolve this? You can find out!
Lee Dong Wook fans will be treated to another round of excellent drama with mesmerizing visuals. This drama will be airing on Prime Video as Dong Wook will take us through the story of an insurance company team related to divorce. He will keep clashing with the new employee because of the difference in their perspective. Another workplace bickering? Bring it on!
We are still keeping our tabs open for more announcements, in case we have more drama confirmations before March ends. Just like we had an amazing February filled with high-taste dramas, we can’t wait for March to serve us thrilling dramas to cool off the stress of life.
