The K-drama ‘Marry My Husband’, adapted from a web novel and webtoon has undoubtedly been topping the K-drama charts since the beginning of 2024.

However, probably because the majority had read the webtoon version prior, the K-drama landed into controversies because it deviated from the webtoon and stuck to the web novel version which introduced a new antagonist in Episode 11

I followed the series from episode 1 and I think, except for the fact that the romance plot did not really shine as I expected, the storyline is doing just fine and I don’t think sticking to the web novel series was a bad idea at all.

Netizens have continued to show displeasure on this. So what’s your take? Do you think the webnovel version is good enough or should they have just used the webtoon version all through?
