Millionaire K-celebs You Didn't Know Were Rich!

Watching K-dramas with rich male leads and female leads like What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Business Proposal, King the Land, Strong Girl Bong-soon, Angel’s Last Mission Love, My Love From Another Star, It’s Okay Not To Be Okay and many more gave us the understanding of how it looks and feels like to be a chaebol or to be wealthy in Korea.

However, all these K-dramas are works of fiction, and most of the leads in these dramas are not chaebols in real life. But of course, outside K-dramas, some Korean actors and actresses are from wealthy families and can be considered millionaires with just their family background, even though they have made a name for themselves in the entertainment industry.

Here is a list of some Korean celebrities from rich backgrounds who pursued their dreams, and some of their filmography.

These Korean celebrities were born with a silver spoon, however being born into a wealthy family might be challenging with the public belief that children are sometimes expected to follow in their parent’s footsteps, especially in managing and preserving a family business. Notwithstanding, since passion and satisfaction go hand in hand, and without them, any happiness is only temporary because there’s nothing to make it last, not everyone can bend to the expectations of their background.

Despite living in affluence, these Korean Celebrities pursued what they wanted. I will say they are not just entertainers, but role models for upcoming celebrities in their shoes.

Regardless of one’s background, whether wealthy or poor, the only person you are destined to be is the person you decide to be.
