Our Second Generation Oppas

Do you know that even though we have a lot of Korean actors with whom we are so in love, their generation differs?

When I say generation, I mean even though they all look young and beautiful (yes, beautiful), they all have their differences in age, experience, looks, and more.

Recently, I made a piece on Korean actors who are unbelievably in their 40s and of course that could pass for our first generation Oppas.

Here, I want to tell you about our second-generation Oppa. These are actors who are mostly in their (late) 30s and can be classified together in one group (this is not necessarily based on experience)

Lee Min Ho

First on this list is almost every Nigerian girl K-Drama's first love, ‘Lee Min Ho’ Oppa. I mean, literally all Nigerian men are jealous of this Oppa because they consider him the first boyfriend of their girlfriends, but that’s a topic for another day. This won’t be complete without mentioning his great contribution to the spread of the Hallyu wave, right?

Actor Lee Min Ho, who has been entertaining us since 2002, was born on June 22, 1987, and he’s currently 36-years-old. He has starred in several dramas that I'm sure every Korean enthusiast has on their watchlist because I remember searching for all his dramas some time ago to stay updated.

Kim Woo Bin

What I have for actor Kim Woo Bin is what I will call a hate-turned-love affection. I mean, his behavior in the drama ‘The Heirs’ almost turned him into a real-life villain for me and to be honest I didn’t like him at all in the drama but what I didn’t know was that he would have me crying at the end of another drama ‘Uncontrollably Fond’ (Someone give me a tissue please, it’s coming again)

Kim Woo Bin Oppa is 34 years old and he was born on July 16, 1989. He entered the entertainment industry in 2009 and has been active since then.

Ji Chang Wook

The drama ‘Empress Ki’ remains one of my favorite Sageuk of all time and of all the factors that make this so, the flawless acting of Ji Chang Wook Oppa takes the lead. He didn’t stop at that, he didn’t let me down in all his series I’ve seen. From K2 to Melting Me Softly, and then from Backstreet Rookie to The Sound of Magic and many more dramas, he definitely ate and left no crumbs.

This captivating Oppa is 36 years old and he was born on July 5, 1987. He launched his career in 2006 and I will say he’s still giving us amazing visuals back to back.

Lee Jong Suk

Another pretty Oppa on this list is Lee Jong Suk.

I still can’t get over his hotness in ‘Doctor Stranger’ Gosh!

Yes, you guessed right, my first encounter with Lee Jong Suk in a drama was in ‘Doctor Stranger' and I definitely love how he was a master of the scalpel, I mean, in the series, he performed surgery on people like a pro. Although I know he’s not a doctor in real life, he etched his face into my heart ever since then.

Lee Jong Suk was born On September 14, 1989, making him 34 years old. He debuted as a runway model in 2005 and is still active.

Park Seo Joon

This Oppa is another Hallyu sweetheart whose charisma I can’t get over.

I think he is dragging the hearts of Nigerian girls (Including mine by the way) with actor Lee Min Ho because let’s leave his obviously cute face. He knows his game when it comes to top-notch acting, right?

35-year-old Park Seo Joon was born on December 16, 1988. He debuted in 2011 and is still in the business of giving us mouth-watering dramas.

Of course, the Oppas on this list are not the only ones eligible to be on this list, I definitely will not dispute that fact, however, let me throw you this question, which other Oppa is eligible to be on this list? Let me know in the comments.

While we are on that, look forward to a piece on more second-generation Oppas. Love ya, bye!
