Third Generation Oppa (The Miligen-Zs)

Hey peeps, today let’s talk about the Miligen-Zs, Yes, you heard right, the Miligen-Zs.

If you have a hard time pronouncing that, do this M-I-L-I-G-E-N-Zs. Of course, it’s not an actual word. I coined it from my delulu world but trust me to explain how I came up with that.

So in previous pieces about actors and the generations they belong to, I explained that I am taking pleasure in writing this series of articles so you can limit your crush to your age gap (Although I am sure you won’t listen, I will do my part)

Here, I am talking about the third-generation Oppas and I am calling them the Miligen-Zs because although they are not actual Gen-Zs, they only escaped just by a slight difference, (Millennials + Gen Z = Miligen-Zs) you get it?

Let’s get right into it.

Jo Byeong Kyu

Did you see this Oppa in ‘Uncanny Counter’? Gosh! He was all shades of beautiful (I can’t help it) and charming. I think he is so underrated and he gets fewer lead roles, but he remains a sensation.

Just like I said earlier, this Oppa only escaped being an actual gen-Z by a year as he was born on 23rd April 1996 (You could have just waited till 1997 you know, but we still love you like that anyway)

He debuted as an actor in 2015 and I hope to see him in more lead roles in the future.

Rowoon

Rowoon is one actor I fell in love with from ‘Extraordinary You’ and ‘Tomorrow’.

Although he keeps improving by the day, I was just so captivated by those series.

He made it to this list because he also escaped from being a Gen Z by a year and he was born on 7th August 1996 (he will be 28 years old soon) and he made his debut in 2016.

Ahn Hyo Seop

Who do we have here? Another one of my crushes (Thank God having so many crushes is not illegal in any country, I would have been so guilty)

There is no way I am getting over the fact that someone called this Oppa an Archaeopteryx. I mean, it just gets funnier anytime I remember. I will stop here so you don’t start crushing on him as well (you came late, and I was here before you)

Ahn Hyo Seop is 29 years old, born on 17th April 1995. He debuted as an actor and Idol in 2015 but abandoned his singing career to focus on acting in 2019.

Lee Do Hyun

From ‘Youth of May’ to ‘18 Again’, Lee Do Hyun has proven himself to be worthy as an actor.

Although Do Hyun looks like an actual Gen Z, he is not one (I stopped being surprised about Korean age not matching their looks a long time ago, what about you?)

Lee Do Hyun is another 29-year-old actor born on 11th April 1995. He debuted in 2017 and I believe there’s still time for him to grow bigger in the industry.

Hwang Min Hyun

Hwang Min Hyun is that Oppa that will have you drooling with his innocent and childish looks. Although he is more of an idol than an actor, seeing him in ‘My Lovely Liar’ and ‘Alchemy of Soul’ makes me expect to see him in other series.

He was born on 9th August 1995, and he debuted in 2012.

That ends the list of the ‘Miligen-Z’s.’ Look forward to the list of the actual Gen-Z Oppas, you’ll love it.!
