Writers and their Masterpieces

When talking about k-dramas, what we mostly talk about are the captivating storylines, flawless acting from the characters, impeccable casting of the casting director, the directing skills of the director, the cinematography and of course we go on to commend many more crew members who make the series a near perfect one.

However, although we often talk about the storyline, I think the most important part that we should focus on is what we always omit, which is the writers who make the storyline. I mean, as a writer myself, I know the hard work (let’s not go into the details) that comes with writing, not to talk of writing a masterpiece. And this is me celebrating my kind in this piece.

Even though it’s impossible to mention all the great story writers who have made our K-Drama journey exciting and entertaining, I will be mentioning a few of them and their masterpieces (wave-making K-dramas)  


So, here goes:


Although I do not practice misandry, I wish I could express how happy I am that all these amazing writers are all women. (Butterflies in my stomach)

Next time you watch a drama, especially a masterpiece, take the time to appreciate the brains behind it.
