The ink drips smartly over here. Let me take you through the world of my imagination while riding on the letters😎 It's all fun in this corner.
Ki Jun and Han Deul rush to the FSS (Financial Supervisory Service). The official points out that the divorce ceremony section on the flyer they shared at the wedding fair, that the divorce ceremony goes over the gift limit. Han Deul argues that it has risen from 30,000 Won to 200,000 Won. He slams back with the law applying to the items that reduce the risk of an accident, in which the divorce insurance ceremony doesn't fall.
The situation gets tighter, and Ki Jun declares they won't hold any divorce ceremony at all, turning it into a case of fake advertisement. Out of reflex, he declares they will be fine as long as the first ten people don't get divorced. Han Deul is not in total support, but he gives them a chance on the condition that the product won't officially launch if even one of the first ten couples gets divorced.
Meanwhile, Jeon Man and Na Rae visit a marriage counselor who tells them some couples avoid conflicts and confrontation because they believe it changes nothing. Ah Young visits a baker and suggests baking classes to strengthen their marital bond, but the baker explains that only couples on good terms can work out.
Our date pest shows up at the bakery where Ah Young is. The baker asks if she knows him, and she denies him. The baker explains that his father owns the building, he does the maintenance, and holds dance classes at the studio, suggesting that holding dance classes for couples is actually a better idea because it requires more physical interactions. Ohhhhhh, entanglement, is that you?
He rushes inside the café, and the baker excuses herself to give them privacy. Using the fate line, she counters that meeting again is just a coincidence. She asks him to hold dance lessons classes, and he calls her proactive this time around. She drops her business card and disappears.
He runs after her and asks if they will be seeing each other now. She says it's not for personal reasons because she has no intention of getting married. He asks if she can date and what she does in her free time. She replies that her free time is for investing in herself by learning a new hobby. He gifts her a Napa cabbage from his farm, explaining that he gave up his parents' financial support for dancing and has now become a farmer, adding that her nonchalant attitude makes her more charming. She seems proud of him, showing a subtle smile that fades quickly. This is the second time she will be slightly fascinated by him; maybe we can expect a spark now?
Han Deul criticizes Ki Jun for making such an outrageous promise, and Dae Bok almost chews him out when he hears it. All sides submit their lists, and it turns out that the first person on the official list is at a very high risk of divorce, making Dae Bok faint. Jeon snaps his suspenders against his chest to wake him up. Ouch!
The suspicions about Jeong Shin, Han Deul's sunbae, are right; she was only trying to get information during the meal. She turns out to be the culprit who filed the divorce complaint. She's grinning at the trouble Ki Jun and his team now face, especially with the newly added conditions placed on their product launch.
Senior Managing Director confronts Na Rae about the complaint from FSS. Na Rae clarifies that the issue stemmed from a mistake on a flyer; he says they have to be thorough because the product must be successfully launched. Na Rae presses further that it's an insider's job and reveals her plan to involve the security manager. He counters the insider's claim, making him fall on the suspicion list because he had made a strange phone call the night the intruder logged into the team's system for the insurance policy. The suspicion is spot on as he makes a quick phone call, asking them to move discreetly so no one can trace it back to them. Urgh, these sly snakes! Meanwhile, Dae Bok is still screaming his lungs out in the office.
On their way out of the company, Han Deul remembers Gu Mi Rae, because she had interviewed her personally at the wedding fair, and Ki Jun asks for the address that they have to investigate, which doesn't sit right with Han Deul since they are not detectives, but he teases her the more by calling her Detective Kang. He hammers that they have to find the hidden signs of divorce and treat it in the golden hour, earning the question of whether he is a Doctor from her. Once again, he teases her by asking for a scalpel before suggesting they call the client. Goofy man! They find her eagerness and happiness concerning, but Ki Jun pulls her along to find out what they could.
Back at the office, Dae Bok ponders the policy violation, highlighting how one has to be an expert to find out such a thing before settling on the idea that a lawyer at the fair might have been the source. Wondering if they have to hire more staff, he places a call to one of his junior colleagues who is singing his heart out in a trot performance for old women just to get them to sign an insurance policy.
Na Rae's investigation with the security team points towards Han Deul and Ki Jun for using their computers outside work hours. She asks if an outsider can access the computer, but the answer is no unless they get an employee's ID number.
Moving to Devlish Jeong Sin, she gives the order to launch the divorce insurance product from their company, Best Insurance Company, saying that adding benefits to the existing policies is now boring, and this new one will make waves.
On getting to Mi Rae's place, they realize she's a tarot reader who just signed up for the insurance because they came to her booth. Her mood changes when she hears their visit is about insurance, and she throws them out, demanding a divorce ceremony. Wow!
Han Deul rings Mi Rae's housebell again and asks for a tarot reading this time around, easing her rage. Han Deul asks if she will be able to carry out her task as her tarot reading question, making Ki Jun wonder what she's driving at with this method. The selected cards vouch for their project's success, even though the process will be a difficult one.
Mi Rae gets trapped with the tarot reading result since their success depends on her not getting a divorce; talk about a smart move! Han Deul persuades her to reconsider things because the tarot reading is a sign from above. Mi Rae dives into the history of how they met at Camino De Santiago when he extended a hand to her, while she was experiencing burnout. Both of them were fascinated by the other's name because hers meant "Future," while her husband, Hyeong Jae, means "Present."
Her husband is a documentary photographer who travels to take pictures of animals, leaving her alone ever since they got married. She wants to have children and talk together with her family as they grow up, just like the future she envisions, but he lives his life like his name - present. Mi Rae promises to see it as a sign from above if they can find a solution. Giving the hint of his tiger hunt in a mountain, Han Deul searches out the location and urges them to go there right away, using the golden hour line Ki Jun used a few hours ago.
On the office's rooftop, Jeon Man picks up a yo-yo from the cleaning box to de-stress. Na Rae shows up out of nowhere with explanations about how it got its name from the Filipino language, "To Come Back." Taking it from Jeon Man, she tries to play with it, but he retrieves it after she responds that she doesn't know how to yo-yo, saying it's a weapon that could hurt her. Adding the fact that the particular model is not for beginners, he brings another one and explains the process.
She keeps getting the finger placement wrong, and he struggles with helping her fix her fingers on the yo-yo without touching them properly. She keeps getting the throwing wrong, making him step at her back and slightly coordinate her shoulders for a perfect throw. It works out this time, followed by an intense staring competition at each other. Strict Jeon Man cuts the moment short and tells her to keep her eyes forward. Trying to give the yo-yo a tug makes her fall back into his arms, but he pushes her off him, making her fall to her knees. Oh, Jeon Man! He just wouldn't let this romance bloom.
Ki Jun's call comes in; he picks it up as a video call unknowingly, making our leads watch the romantic scuffle between him and Na Rae as he tries to help her up. Han Deul defends that there must be a reasonable explanation for the scene. Ki Jun asks if it's the same with their intimate mattress scene, leaving her speechless. Savage! She admits Jeon Man and Na Rae's situation is mild compared to their own scenario.
Ah Young joins them in the car for the husband's search, and Ki Jun tells her to consider it as a camping event to sight-see beautiful things, and she counters with there's nothing good to see in the countryside. Dear Miss, are you sure? Jeon Man and Na Rae get the message to also join the trip as Dae Bok meets up with his junior colleague at the company's lobby.
After the mini-reunion, Dae Bok brews an executive coffee for himself and brags about being Na Rae's right-hand man. He finally places the offer of helping him make divorce insurance sales on the table; he promises to make him an executive distributor if they end up launching the product successfully. Change Hee grabs the offer without hesitation, promising to do his best. We get taken back to when he was making the Child Accident Protection Policy in his early career, all dressed up in funny attire as he handed out both balloons and flyers to kids in front of their schools.
Meanwhile, the trio arrives at Gorangae Village. Ki Jun immediately attacks Ah Young for saying there's nothing to see in the countryside. Ah Young sighs that she's glad she came as she scans the beautiful view, only to see our date pest in a farmer's outfit. Another moment of fate or coincidence? She accuses him of following her down to the village, and he counters that he owns the farm field. He also reveals he's the head of the village; just how many characters do you have?
As expected, he uses the fate line, listing out the date, partnership, and now the village meetings, and our leads confirm it really is. He's more helpful than expected as he takes them to check the CCTV of Hyeon Jae's car coming into the village and not leaving, stressing that he can only get accommodation and food through two means: lodging or staying in his car. He further reveals that only two places are compatible for car camping, which are the resting area and the one close to Windy Hill. However, some people make their way up to the Deulmeori forest.
Ki Jun suggests they split into two groups, and our date pest says he will search the village with Ah Young, who refuses flatly. He convinces her that the first resting area is shorter, so they should leave the longer task for the elderly. He suggests an accommodation option for them, stressing that his dear Ah Young needs to sleep well. They leave after a series of instructions on coming down quickly because of the fickle weather and taking note of the tricky tracks, where Ki Jun boasts he's a human GPS.
Han Deul steps on a stone, almost leading to a twisted ankle. Ki Jun slips her hand into his and holds her as they hike the trail, causing a more intense moment. Oooohhhhhh! She tries rejecting the offer, but he grabs her hand harder, telling her it's steeper than she thinks. The situation turns around unexpectedly, and she ends up holding exhausted Ki Jun instead, who keeps asking her to slow down. They finally locate a car similar to Hyeon Jae's car in the camping area with cameras around it, but it turns out not to be his. Hiking deeper into the mountain, they get lost in a place with a similar look, and she asks if his GPS has stopped working. I was about to ask, too.
While still arguing about how GPS never works in places like this, rain starts pouring. He covers them with his long coat as they seek shelter before the rain finally stops. Their phone batteries are out, so there's no way to call for help, and Han Deul voices her fear of meeting something scary. Right at that moment, something rustled the leaves, making them pause fearfully. A turn brings them face-to-face with a huge ass tiger roaring behind them.
Personally, I enjoy the events in this episode. It's a bold step towards romance for everyone. They are also getting their way around the violation entanglement. The situation pushes them closer to both their work and romance goals, and I love how the writer is not making it a strictly work drama with a little touch of romance; it's balanced.
In the next episode, we get teased with the team's search and how they resolve the conflict, and a stronger romantic moment between Na Rae and Jeon Man, alongside our leads.
