So I noticed a lot of people enjoy watching TV series mostly based on webtoons, I mean, apart from the fact that you already know the ending of the drama, the joy that comes with ‘watching a comic on TV’ is second to none.

Moving

Synopsis: Moving follows the undercover lives of retired superhuman agents who attempt to protect and hide their children's inherited powers.

This series aired in 2023 and was based on a webtoon of the same name by author Kang Full ( Kang Do-young)

Nevertheless

Synopsis: The intoxicating charm of a flirtatious art school classmate pulls a reluctant love cynic into a friends-with-benefits relationship.

‘Nevertheless’ series is based on a famous webtoon of the same name by Jung Seo. It aired in 2021.

Marry My Husband

Synopsis: A story about Ji-won who after being killed by her husband who had an affair with her best friend, goes back 10 years in the past and has a chance to change her fate.

Marry My Husband is a bit controversial because it has both a web novel version and a webtoon version written by Sung So-jak . However, the series stuck to the web novel version and aired in 2024.

The King's Affection

Synopsis: A young woman discovers that she's the secret twin of the crown prince, though she was abandoned at birth. She sacrifices her identity to take the place of her brother, pretending to be him for the sake of her country and her loved ones.

The King’s Affection is a gender-bending sageuk based on a comic ‘Yeonmo', written by Lee So-young. The series aired in 2021

Love Alarm

Synopsis: Love Alarm revolves around the story of a technology that enables users to discover love through an application that notifies users when someone within 10 meters has romantic feelings for them.

This series aired in 2019. It is based on a webtoon of the same name by Chon Kye-young published on a South Korean web portal.
